# Argil MCP server

> Generate images, videos and audio with Argil from ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, Claude Code or your own agent.

The Argil MCP server lets an AI assistant use your Argil workspace: every model of your playground, your library and your credits. You ask in plain words, the assistant generates, and the result lands in your Argil library.

## What you can ask

> Make a studio photo of a matte black ceramic mug on oak, soft morning light, square.

> Turn that photo into a 5 second vertical video: steam rising, the camera pushes in.

> Put my character Mia in a rainy Tokyo street at night, 9:16, 8 seconds.

> Three 9:16 hooks for a running shoe, 5 seconds each, at most 25 credits each.

> Make my avatar Carlos say "Welcome to the spring collection" in French.

> What did I generate this week? How many credits do I have left?

You rarely need to name a model: say what matters (format, length, quality, budget) and the assistant picks one.

## What you need

* **An Argil account.** Anyone can connect, browse the models, and use their library.
* **An active plan to generate.** Generations spend your workspace's credits, at the same prices as in the app.
* **For coding agents and your own agents:** an API key, created in [**Workspace settings → API keys**](https://www.argil.ai/workspace-settings?tab=api-keys).
